April 30, 2011

After a kind of long and cold winter and a very wet spring the 54 Corvette was put into storage while other important things happened. I am just now finishing up sending 2 Corvettes to Austria to my friends and my wife is having the inside of the house repainted and old wall paper taken off. My close friend Brett Henderson of Blue Flame Restoration (where all the work to the Motorama Car will take place) is just finishing up on a 53, 54, 55 and a 1989 ZR 1 Prototype Corvette (#2 of 2) so now there will be room very soon to put the 54 project Motorama Car in the shop. With the help of my 11 year old grand son most of the car has been stripped and awaiting Brett's very skill full hands to start on the transformation of this project. Not only will this be one outstanding car when finished but it will be an outstanding piece of advertising for Blue Flame Restoration Shop in Pendleton Indiana. When the restoration begins (very soon) there will be plenty of pictures and progress posted as the transformation begins. I hope you all follow along as we are about to begin an outstanding transformation very soon.
